NextPax earns Elite Partner designation from Vrbo®/HomeAway based on innovative platform enhancements and strong bookings revenue for vacation rental partners
Almere, 11th of March 2020
– NextPax, the most advanced channel management technology provider for hotels, resorts and vacation rentals worldwide, announced it has become a Vrbo® Elite Software Partner, the highest designation available for vacation rental software companies that integrate with Vrbo. Vrbo, Expedia Group’s global vacation rental business, is the go-to for families to book vacation homes, cabins, and condos with more than two million places to stay around the world.
The Elite Software Partner designation is awarded to only the highest-performing vacation rental software companies. Vrbo considers many factors when evaluating software providers, including how current their integration version is, the technical performance and reliability of their integration, and traveler demand.
‘Our Elite Software Partners are leaders in the vacation rental software industry, demonstrated by their foresight, dependability, and clear understanding of customer needs,’ said Mike Ortegon, global director channel operations at Vrbo. ‘Property managers who work with Elite Partners have shown great success on Vrbo sites, thanks to their seamless integration and access to world-class tools.’
NextPax delivers instant listing data and updates on Vrbo’s network, and with the latest enhancements, properties on the channel have seen record-breaking bookings. Powered by Artificial Intelligence, the NextPax platform is helping partners such as Vrbo, Cottages, and Novasol to reduce their workload with automation, thereby accelerating their offering quickly and efficiently while keeping complete control of their unique brand. Some recent Vrbo connectivity advancements by NextPax that have contributed to the exceptional revenue growth for partners include:
- Implementation of sub room Information, providing details on the number and type of beds per room in the property (and other room configuration elements), to show what’s available within a holiday home.
- Integration of a variety of payment providers so that credit card information from guest bookings in HomeAway are secure and PCI-compliant with the property manager. This increases conversions, decreases cancellations, and provides transparent pricing in the customer journey.
- Successful completion of the latest pricing API on HomeAway to ensure price consistency.
‘We’re proud of our reputation for working collaboratively and cohesively with all of our partners,’ says Erik Engel, CEO of NextPax. ‘We use a triangle approach focused on continuously expanding our product capabilities to deliver more value to property managers and channel partners. From fine-tuning existing technology to providing AI support, we are thrilled with what we’ve been able to accomplish during our 6 year-long relationship with Vrbo.’
As a part of its designation, NextPax may receive early access to new Vrbo tools and features for integrated partners. The company also works directly with Vrbo’s leadership team, providing feedback and helping shape future Vrbo products for integrated partners.
In 1995, Vrbo introduced a new way for people to travel together, pairing homeowners with families and friends looking for places to stay. We were grounded in one purpose: To give people the space they need to drop the distractions of everyday life and simply be together. Since then, we’ve grown into a global community of homeowners and travelers, with unique properties around the world. Vrbo makes it easy and fun to book cabins, condos, beach houses and every kind of space in between.
