NextPax awarded a renewal for the highest level in Booking.com Preferred Connectivity Partner Program

Almere, December 2020 – For surpassing the commercial performance, technical innovation and high engagement with the team, Booking.com renewed NextPax’ Premier Connectivity Partner status for 2021, for the second year in a row. This places NextPax among only few top tier connectivity partners providing a state of the art Booking.com connection to its clients, whether for holiday homes, apartments, villas, hotels or any other property class type.

In close cooperation with various teams of the Booking.com Connectivity Department, NextPax integrated almost every API and feature Booking.com is offering. Over the course of 2020, all the property page scores are now available in the NextPax channel management solution for its accommodation partnerships. This enables the property managers to better understand how to improve their accommodations on Booking.com. In addition, NextPax is now consuming more technical data related to Booking.com’s Payment Program, and therefore able to check the outstanding amount, validity and chargeable dates for Booking.com’s virtual credit cards. This will help property managers to move to this program, being assured the technology is in place to convert more guests in their properties due to more alternative payment methods. It also ensures that both property manager and channel are PSD2/SCA compliant.

The commercial synergy was reflected in helping hoteliers and vacation rental property managers to cope with the COVID-19 crisis. This was done by advising on how Booking.com can help steer more demand into the properties with the help of a few tweaks: offer more flexibility in the cancellation policies, upholding the cleaning standards by clicking the Booking.com standard phrases related to COVID-19 and providing more amenities to explain the property manager’s cleaning standards towards potential guests.

Director of Global Partnerships at NextPax, Lennart Kok is thrilled about the progress of the last 2 years in relation to the Booking.com connection: ‘We really showed that we are continuously looking to challenge ourselves, the status quo of distribution and with that we are accelerating growth and revenues for both companies, which provides a long-lasting value for every property manager that connects through NextPax to Booking.com.’ For 2021, the company is connecting more property managers to Booking.com and rolling out more functionalities towards more property managers around a further rollout of the Promotions API and an integration of the Contracting & Messaging API.

According to Booking.com’s Connectivity Partner Business Manager Ruud van Buggenum, rewarding NextPax as Premier Partner is important given their impact: ‘NextPax’s exceptional service and partnership once again led them to become one of our few top tier Premier Connectivity Partners. Travel technology is always evolving and so are the needs of travellers and accommodation partners, now more than ever. Together with NextPax, Booking.com can always offer the most relevant supply to guests. For the right price, whatever property type they are looking for, wherever they want to travel. Making it easier for everyone to experience the world.’
