(ALMERE, October 2025) NextPax is excited to announce the latest Expedia integration update: the Expedia Group Promotions API. With this new connection, property managers and hoteliers can now create, manage, and sync promotions with the Expedia Group directly through the NextPax platform.

This integration ensures pricing consistency and better merchandise options across Expedia Group websites, while unlocking new ways to drive visibility, boost occupancy, and capture more reservations.

Promotion types available

  • Single Promotions – Offer percentage-based discounts (1–75%) across all nights of a stay.

  • Day-of-Week Promotions – Target specific weekdays with tailored discounts to manage occupancy fluctuations (e.g., 10% off Mondays, 12% off Tuesdays).

  • Multi-Night Promotions – Reward longer stays with Nth-night discounts (e.g., “Stay 3 nights, get the 3rd night at 40% off”).

Flexible promotion strategies

  • Basic Promotions – Define promotions with criteria such as booking dates, stay dates, or length of stay.

  • Early Booking Deals – Incentivise traveler's who plan ahead, highlighted with “Book Early and Save” tags on Expedia Group sites.

  • Same-Day Deals – Capture last-minute bookings with “Tonight Only” discounts.

  • Mobile-Only Deals – Target travelers booking via mobile devices, where a growing share of Expedia reservations are made.

Target Expedia's OneKey Loyalty Program

  • Member-Only Deals – Reach Expedia’s One Key loyalty members, a global base of 168 million travelers. These members are among Expedia’s most trusted and reliable guests—typically booking earlier, staying longer, and spending more than non-members. How to Set It Up

NextPax partners can set up Expedia Promotions in two ways:

  • Via the NextPax Application – Log into your NextPax dashboard and navigate to the Promotions section. From there, you can choose your promotion type (Single, Day-of-Week, Multi-Night, Early Booking, Same-Day, Member-Only, Mobile-Only), configure booking windows, discount levels, and eligibility criteria, and apply them directly to your properties. Once the promotion type is selected, there are particular setup options and fencing options available. In this way you can target for instance OneKey Loyalty Program users or make the promotion available only for mobile users.

 

Via the NextPax Supply API – For partners who manage inventory programmatically, promotions can be created and updated through the NextPax Supply API. This gives you full flexibility to automate campaigns, synchronize pricing rules, and apply promotions across multiple properties at scale. Once published, your promotions are automatically pushed to Expedia Group’s marketplace and merchandised with the appropriate badging, filters, and placement.
