Great photography has always been one of the strongest drivers of bookings. But simply uploading beautiful images is no longer enough. Booking.com increasingly relies on photo tags to understand what guests are seeing and present the most relevant content during the booking journey.
That's why NextPax has upgraded its Booking.com integration from single photo tags to multiple photo tags per image.
Previously, each image uploaded through NextPax could only be assigned a single tag. While this met Booking.com's minimum requirements, it often failed to fully describe what was actually visible in the photograph.
With the latest enhancement, a single image can now contain multiple descriptive tags.
For example, one photo can now be recognised as:
instead of being limited to just one of those attributes.

Booking.com uses image metadata to better understand your accommodation and present relevant photos throughout the traveller journey.
By providing richer image descriptions, your listing becomes more informative and better organised, helping travellers quickly find the features that matter most to them.
The result is a stronger visual presentation of your property and a more engaging booking experience.
Provide Booking.com with a much richer understanding of every image in your gallery.
Travellers can more easily identify important amenities, views and room features while browsing your listing.
Clearer, more descriptive visual content helps guests make booking decisions with greater confidence, increasing the likelihood of conversion.
As Booking.com continues investing in AI-powered content discovery and personalised search, richer image metadata helps ensure your listings are prepared to benefit from future innovations.
Multiple photo tags are fully supported through the NextPax Channel Manager. Simply maintain your property content as usual, and NextPax delivers richer image information directly to Booking.com.
At NextPax, we're continually expanding the depth of our Booking.com connectivity—not only by supporting new APIs and promotional opportunities, but also by helping accommodation partners deliver richer, more accurate property content.
Because better content doesn't just look better—it helps travellers find the right property faster and gives hosts every opportunity to convert interest into bookings.
