NextPax appoints Eric Leong to lead Asia Pacific

Almere, October 2020 – NextPax, the global channel management provider, today announced Eric Leong has been appointed as Executive Vice President APAC. Eric is based in Singapore and will be responsible for expanding NextPax’s business in the region in terms of revenue and geographic growth.

Eric will lead the expansion of NextPax’ presence in the region through growing supply and extending strategic partnerships. ‘We have been steadily growing in the APAC region and it’s now time for “boots” on the ground in the Asia Pacific Region,’ explains Erik Engel, CEO & Founder of NextPax. ‘With Eric Leong in charge from Singapore we can really start accelerating our growth in the region.’ 

Among the successful implementations led from the head office in Almere are the launch of the first completely automated connection for vacation rentals on Trip.com, one of the major travel distribution channels in Asia, co-development of Agoda’s content API and the successful integration with MakeMyTrip. The portfolio of NextPax already contains a varied supply of vacation rentals, hotels, hostels, B&Bs and boutique hotels in the Asian Pacific region.

Eric Leong has fantastic experience in hospitality and travel. He has worked for various online travel agents like Tujia, Qunar and Booking.com. As an Area Manager of Booking.com he opened a number of satellite offices in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Working for Qunar, he led the expansion in Indonesia, Thailand and Indo-China.
