NextPax launches multi-unit support for Holidu: holiday parks, hotels and aparthotels now shown as complete properties

Accommodation partners can now present their complete property on Holidu, including its pools, restaurants, activity centres and on-site services, alongside detailed information for each unit type.

NextPax has launched multi-unit support for its Holidu connection, changing how professionally managed properties appear to travellers. Holiday parks, hotels, aparthotels, resorts and apartment buildings can now be listed on Holidu as what they really are: one property with its own identity, content and facilities, containing several distinct bookable unit/room types. Travellers no longer see a single bungalow or apartment category in isolation, without knowing it is actually part of a holiday park, resort or hotel. They see the whole property, with its central pool, its restaurant and its activity programme, and then choose the unit/room type that suits them.

From unit listings to complete properties

Until now, multi-unit accommodation was usually represented on Holidu at the unit level. A holiday park appeared as a collection of bungalow or chalet types, and an aparthotel as a set of apartment types. Each listing carried its own photos and description, but the property those units belonged to stayed largely invisible.

That left a lot of value unseen. For many holiday parks, the facilities are the reason guests book in the first place: the tropical indoor pool, the playground and kids' club, the restaurant on the lake, the tennis courts and bike rental. For hotels and aparthotels, the reception, breakfast room, spa, fitness area or rooftop terrace define the stay just as much as the room does. With unit-level listings, operators could only hint at these features inside each unit description, repeating the same information many times and still never showing the full picture.

"A holiday park isn't a collection of bungalows. It's a destination in its own right," said Lennart Kok, VP of Distribution and Marketing at NextPax. "The pool, the restaurant and the activity centre are often what makes a family choose one park over another. Until now, that story was hard to tell on a listing site. The same experience was missing for hotels and resorts on Holidu. With this release, our partners can finally show travellers on Holidu the complete property they're booking into."

How the new multi-unit setup works

The new setup introduces two clearly separated levels of information.

At the property level, partners present the property as a whole, classified by type: holiday park, hotel, aparthotel, resort or apartment building. This level has its own content: photos of the grounds, the entrance, the shared facilities and the surroundings; descriptions of the property, its location and its atmosphere; and property-wide amenities such as swimming pools, restaurants and bars, activity and entertainment centres, wellness facilities, playgrounds, parking, reception and other on-site services.

At the unit-type level, partners describe each accommodation type within the property, such as a four-person bungalow, a family chalet, a superior double room or a two-bedroom apartment. Each unit type has its own photos, description, layout, occupancy and in-unit amenities, clearly distinguished from the property-wide information.

This means content is managed where it belongs. Information about the central pool is maintained once at the property level instead of being repeated in every unit description. Details about a specific cottage's kitchen or terrace stay with that unit type. Rates, availability and reservations continue to run automatically through the existing NextPax connection, so partners keep managing their inventory in their own systems while NextPax delivers the structured property and unit-type content to Holidu.

Better visual advertising for holiday parks

For holiday parks, the release is a major step forward in how they can market themselves on Holidu. Parks can now lead with their strongest selling points: aerial shots of the park, the indoor and outdoor pool complex, the restaurant and brasserie, the entertainment programme and the activity centre. These features appear as part of the property itself, not as fragments scattered across unit-type listings.

Travellers get what they need to make a decision: a clear sense of what the park offers as a whole, followed by a clear comparison of the accommodation types available within it. The result is a more attractive, more trustworthy presentation that better matches how families and groups actually choose a holiday park.

More depth for hotels, aparthotels and resorts

For hotels, aparthotels and resorts, the property level provides room to show their capabilities as a hospitality operation. They can describe reception and service hours, breakfast and dining options, meeting and wellness facilities, and other services that apply across the whole property. The unit-type level can then focus on what makes each room or apartment type different.

This gives serviced apartment and aparthotel operators in particular a way to explain the hybrid nature of their product, combining apartment-style living with hotel-style services, in a way that single-unit listings never fully could.

What it means for Holidu and its travellers

For Holidu, the release brings richer, better-structured content from professionally managed properties onto the platform, and a more accurate way to present property types that don't fit the classic single holiday home model.

"Our travellers want to know exactly what to expect from their stay, and for a holiday park or aparthotel that means much more than the unit itself," said Enrique Planas, Senior Director Business Development at Holidu. "With NextPax's multi-unit support, we can present these properties as complete destinations, with their pools, restaurants and activities, while still giving guests clear information on every unit type. It makes the choice easier for travellers and gives professional operators the showcase they deserve. We're pleased to deepen our partnership with NextPax."

Part of a broader connectivity roadmap

Multi-unit support for Holidu reflects NextPax's wider commitment to representing the full variety of accommodation its partners manage, from individual holiday homes to large holiday parks and resorts, with content that is structured correctly and distributed automatically across channels.

"Distribution is no longer just about availability and rates. It's about presenting each property in the richest, most accurate way on every channel," Lennart Kok added. "Structured multi-unit content is a big part of that, and we'll keep building on it with our channel partners."
